About the Event:

The Marines Memorial Association & Foundation is thrilled to announce our next “Meet the Author” event! On Wednesday 22 June 2022 at 6pm we will be hosting Col Tom Gordon, USMC (Ret), the author of Marine Maxims, a collection of fifty principle-based leadership lessons that he acquired commanding Marines over a 30-year career. These maxims focus on character, moral courage, and the resilience and provide future leaders with a great source of inspiration to hone their leadership skills. Col Gordon is currently the Commandant of Cadets a The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.

Speaker Bio:

Col Thomas J. Gordon, USMC (Ret.), is a career Marine with thirty years of executive leadership experience commanding diverse organizations in the most demanding environments. Now retired from military service, Colonel Gordon continues to develop leaders as the Commandant at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
